Deep Roots Animal Clinic will be keeping our same hours, as of now. Please continue to check our Facebook page or website for future updates.
Due to the city of Kyle declaring a state of emergency, new measures have been put in place to protect our community. Even though the number limitations do not strictly apply to our medical facilities, we will be striving to implement cautionary procedures for the safety of our staff and clients alike.
As we continue to deal with the global crisis of the CoronaVirus, we are implementing new safety guidelines. This week, in order to give us a fresh start, our staff has also invested their care and time into deep cleaning our facility.
What we will be doing:
We, at Deep Roots, are here for you and your pets. As we strive to help your furry friends during this time, please help us by following our new guidelines for safety. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us at 512-967-1119 or email us at deeprootsvet@gmail.com.
As we continue to deal with the global crisis of the CoronaVirus, we are implementing new safety guidelines. This week, in order to give us a fresh start, our staff has also invested their care and time into deep cleaning our facility.
What we will be doing:
- Our staff will be washing or sanitizing their hands, in the rooms, before each visit. We will also have hand sanitizers available in each exam room for both employees and clients.
- Extra sterilizing of the exam rooms will be done between each appointment.
- Our Doctor and staff will not be shaking hands, at this time, in order to comply to CDC guidelines.
- All medical reports, rabies certificates and invoices will be emailed directly to you instead of receiving paperwork during your visit. Please make sure we have a valid email address at your next appointment.
- We ask that our clients try to maintain a distance of 6 feet from other clients while waiting in our lobby. If you arrive for your appointment and our lobby is full, please check in at the front desk and then return to your car and we will have an employee come get you once a room is available.
- We will still be offering farm calls at this time. If you feel more comfortable having our doctor come to you, please do not hesitate to call our clinic for pricing. Farm calls will be limited to exams and emergencies only. Cosmetic visits, such as nail trims and anal gland expressions, as well as technician only appointments will be in-clinic only.
- During this time, we will be offering drive-in, drop-off appointments. After scheduling your appointment, you can call us from the parking lot to inform our staff of your arrival. They will then come to your vehicle and have you fill out the necessary drop-off paperwork and retrieve your pet.
- We will also be offering drive-in food and medication refills. Please call our front desk at least 30 minutes before pick-up to place your order. We will then have your order filled and our staff will bring it out to you once we have received your call, informing us of your arrival. Payment can be made over the phone or given to the staff member that serves you.
- If you are feeling unwell, or you have been tested for COVID-19 with a positive result, and are in need of care for your animal, please contact us to discuss arrangements for care.
